Mathematics  –

In our college we have only one qualified mathematics faculty. Student offer mathematics as a pedagogy subject in 3rd semester. In our library books (Text books, reference books) are available for trainee and faculty. For sessional/practical work we have teaching aids, C.D.s etc. In practical work student prepare grade sheet, geometrical wooden model, C.D.s in different topics of Mathematics for secondary and higher secondary level. We organised workshop on preparation of teaching aids by student in 4th semester. Also student demonstrate it in the class room.

Language  –

In our college, we have English, Bengali, Manipuri, Hindi, Sanskrit as language paper in 3rd & 4th Semester. All the teacher faculty for these subjects are Guest/Contractual faculty. The faculties are fully qualified according to NCTE.  In our library we have all the language subject books and journal. Student prepare teaching aids for language with co-operation of faculties. We have language lab, in lab we have cassette, CD’s, play cards, we also training programme for language teaching.

Science  –

To provide science teaching, we have science laboratory. In this laboratory, we have all the scientific equipment of Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology. Two Guest Lecturer teaches Physical Science and Life Science. We help the teacher and trainees by providing library books, journal on science. For sessional / practical work student prepare teaching aids and models on Science and give demonstration with the help of Science Teacher. In practical work student collect specimen of animal and plants and preserve this by using proper way. We organise workshop on preparation of teaching aids, lesson plan, micro lesson, for 3rd & 4th Semester student. Our teacher participate in different types of training programs.

Social science  –

To provide social science teaching, we have social science laboratory. In laboratory, we have models on Geography, models on Social studies, history. Two Guest Faculty teaches Social Science and History. We help the teacher and trainee by providing library books, journals on Social science. We provide L.C.D. projector and Over Head Projector for preparation of Social Science project. For sessional / practical work student prepare teaching aids and model for teaching social science with the help of teacher. Student prepare CD’s on social Science for project. We organised workshop on preparation of teaching aids, lesson plan, micro lesson, action research for 3rd & 4th Semester student. Our teachers participate in different types of Social science training programme and also acted as a Resource person for the same.
