- This is for general information that as per notification by Assam University issued on 13-10-2022 at 1400 hrs, admission process in all the B.Ed. Colleges is to be immediately stopped until further order. This is due to some technical error in merit list released by the university. The main admission list along with the waiting list of Teachers’ Training College, Silchar will be put up in the college website after receiving further instructions from University . Inconvenience caused in this regard is regretted.

Note: The intake capacity is fixed at 50 by the NCTE. A portion of the total seats will be deputed by the education Deptt. of Assam and the remaining seats will be offered to fresh students on merit basis but subject to reservation of SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PWD as per rules.

Applicants who currently posses their respective Degree and Masters certificate and/or marksheet (and all other relevant documents not submitted previously) are instructed to submit the same in the college office by 22nd October, 2021 for smooth conduct of the admission process.
Regarding Admission Test

- This is for the information of all concerned that the Entrance Test for B.Ed Admission 2021 will be held on 26th September 2021 from 11.00 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. The test will be conducted in an offline mode in various centres as listed in the admission portal. The test will be in the Multiple-choice Question (MCQ) format and OMR sheets will be provided for answering the questions. The syllabus for the examination was notified earlier. Admit Cards for the same will be available for downloading from 23rd September 2021. Applicants are advised to visit the Admission Portal for further announcements.
- B.Ed. Admission test will be held in 13 Degree Colleges across the five districts.
- Students can select their Test centre by login in the admission portal from 20-09-2021 to 22-09-2021 midnight.
- This facility will enable students to appear for the admission test from their nearest centre.
- Due to Covid 19 restriction, number of seats in each centre is limited. So, students will be allowed to select the centre on first come first serve basis.

SESSION 2020 – 22
- B.ED. ADMISSION FOR SESSION 2020-22 IS CLOSED.
- Applicant bearing the token number 265 is being called for admission in the college office on 17-10-2020 as per merit basis against 1 vacant seat in “Others” stream mentioned in the notification and should follow the instructions given in the same.

- The admission process for B.Ed. 1st semester from main list (notification dated 08-10-2020) is over on 13-10-2020 at 5.00 pm.Now, on 14-10-2020, the 2nd admission list will be published based on the waiting list as published on 08-10-2020.For further updates, visit the Teachers’ Training College website regularly.
- This is to inform the concerned applicants that, due to the present situation arising out of COVID – 19 pandemic, there will be no admission/entrance test for B.Ed. course under Assam University for the session 2020 – 2021 vide letter No.AUD/B.Ed(EE)/2020 dated 25-09-2020.
- So, on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination, a merit list is prepared for Science and Other streams.
